Asiatic Lily?

I have a potted asiatic lily that just finished for the season. What is the best way to care for this until Spring? Do I keep it slightly moistened? Put it in the garage and let it dry? Dig up the bulbs and put them into a brown paper bag?

Asiatic Lily?
Well, since you live near San Fransisco then just leave it on the balcony in the pot. If you happen to have a freak freeze then just bring it in until the weather warms back up. As for watering, as long as there is green foliage then keep it watered as usual. Lilies are very hardy and can stand freezing temps if in the ground, however, since you can%26#039;t plant it in the ground and since you have mild winters then your lily should be just fine left in the pot on your balcony. The only danger is in the bulbs being damaged from freezes.

Good Luck
Reply:plant it in the ground now. water it and it will come back next spring. you didn%26#039;t say what zone you%26#039;re in though...
Reply:I agree plant it in the ground with a quarter cup of bone meal and some garlic powder so that rodents don%26#039;t get it. If you have cold winters you might want to mulch
