Y&R Fans...anyone worried about Lily and modeling overload that she has gotten herself into?

I think someone...Cane...needs to really step in and help lily out before something serious happens to her.


But I do think that the writers are addressing the serious side of modeling and how some models will go to the extreme for the gig. Anyone agree?

If there is an anorexic storyline, I%26#039;m not noticing it. But yeah, I do agree that they might be trying to show the darker side of modelling... in a very preachy way, too. I do believe, however, that with so much on her plate, Lily needs to slow down before she has an accident that lands her in the hospital.
Reply:I heard she gets into alot of drugs because of her friend that is getting her all of these modeling jobs , like the fast lane .


I hope not , I really like Lily and Cane together and she doesnt need that to happen .

Reply:yeah I agree with you on how Y%26amp;R writers are doing a great job at addressing this issue. I really wanted to see Lilly take a stand againist this. Not crack under pressure. But I guess i shouldnt expect anything different....she is so weak minded anyway!!

Reply:I am not sure, but I think they already went through this story with Lily%26#039;s mom. I don%26#039;t care much for Lily....or Cane. The story of Lily%26#039;s dad being overprotective of her dates is getting old too....she is 20 something and living on her own...he should butt out.

She is just so eager to prove to both Neil %26amp; Cane that she can handle this because she is %26quot;An adult now%26quot; and no longer a child, that she is pushing herself way too hard!


In a way I am kinda hoping that she is pregnant just so that she will have to slow and take better care of herself for the %26quot;Baby%26#039;s sake%26quot;!


But on the other hand, she%26#039;s got alot of living to do before she needs to be saddled down with a baby!


I also wonder what Cane%26#039;s reaction will be if she is pregnant!


I not so sure he would be ready to have a child either!





Guess we%26#039;ll just have to keep watching to see how all this plays out!
Reply:I think that the big problem here is that Chloe seems to have a crush on Cane. And Chloe is trying to keep Lily so busy that she can%26#039;t spend time with her man. But I do think that there is a HUGE amount of pressure on models in the real world and the show is doing a very good job of portraying that. I actually like the story line. Lily needs to learn how to say no to Chloe. College should be her number one priority. If Lily keeps continuing at the pace she is going then something will end up happening to her. But then again spoilers are hinting that Lily might be pregnant. If that is true then she won%26#039;t be modeling much longer.
