My daughter recently got married and wants to Lily to go live with her. I don%26#039;t want to split the cats up (even tho they are not best pals, I think they are used to being around eachother.) My other daughter wouldn%26#039;t want to part with May. So what should I do? I love both cats and daughters and don%26#039;t want to upset either!
I have got 2 beautiful cats, Lily and May.?
Keep May with the daughter who wants her and lily with the daughter who wants her simple!
Reply:and the girls i think you should keep the cats with you as they are used to their surroundings and the girls can visit
Reply:If the cats don%26#039;t particularly get along then don%26#039;t feel bad about splitting them up. They%26#039;ll each likely be happy to have the house to themselves.
Reply:Tell your daughter (who is obviously old enough to understand)that you aren%26#039;t separating the cats. Tell her to go get her own and raise it.....
If she%26#039;s mature enough to get married, then she is mature enough to understand you can%26#039;t separate animals that have grown up together....
Reply:If it was me, I would tell the married daughter to leave the cats where they are. Adapting to a new home can sometimes be diffivult for a cat. Since your newly married daughter has a newe life withher new husband, suggest that she and her husband adopt a cat from a local shelter. =) New family and a homeless cat will have a good life.
Reply:I think just let your cats live together and bring your daughter three cats. Better that splitting your lovely cats.
Reply:Don%26#039;t separate them get her another cat
