When should you cut the flowers off of a peace lily plant?

I have a large peace lily that has 4 blooms and more coming out. Should I cut the flowers when they start to turn brown or wait until they totally die?

As soon as the flower it self dies away. Let the leaves grow. That%26#039;s what lets them come back next year.
Reply:You can cut them when the flower turns green. The white powder will %26quot;sprinkle%26quot; off, but I don%26#039;t think it will harm anything. It%26#039;s just a bit of a nuisance. The more you cut the flowers, the more they bloom. In fact, you have more blooms than I do and that%26#039;s wonderful. Mine gets too much sunlight.
