I have a white lily plant-?

I hAV WHITE LILY PLANT,ITS DYING AFTER I BROUGHT IT IN HOUSE-WHAT CAN I DO? THIS IS FROM A FUNERAL REALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT LIVE.

if you have sank it into the soil too much it might not do too well. i had a few lilies and i had to move them out the soil and replant them because they had the same problem. i just planted them about an inch into the soil and they are doing great now. but i live in a tropical country. maybe they have to be dormant for a while. like putting them in a freezer till its season is back again. do not over water them. good luck.
Reply:call the green house and ask them what to do if you have the name of it. Most of the lilies will stay outside in the ground and mulch them. It will come up again next year, (if it is a kind to leave outside. good luck Report It

Reply:ah burn the little mutant bastard!!! or just put it next to the window in a warm place, then keep it watered. or just freezdry it and put it in a glass case.
Reply:Mostly likely, it%26#039;s an oriental hybrid lily. They grow outside, and are winter hardy. It%26#039;s just dying off the way it%26#039;s supposed to do, done for the season. Plant the root outside and you could have flowers for cutting next year.





They are forced for pot sale in cool greenhouses.
Reply:Place it by a window of course so it can have the sun light.. or.. if it is NOT TOO cold outside. place it outside during the daylight and in at night
