Special care for a Peace lily?

I just bought a peace lily off ebay. It is a divison from an adult plant. Any care tips that i should know? How much sun do they need? can i plant it outside or would it be better indoors?

Special care for a Peace lily?
Peace lilies are a tropical so you can%26#039;t plant it outside unless you are in a very warm climate. As for care they prefer to have moist soil and in medium to high (filtered) light. A lot of places will say they like low light which isn%26#039;t entirely true, they are tolerant of it but in very low light conditions they are just dying slowly.

Plant it in a regular potting mix, potting up as it gets rootbound. If you want to grow it in a betta tank you can, but they tend to die after a while this way due to root rot.

They are a nice plant, can take a reasonable amount of abuse, so if you forget to water it for a while you%26#039;ll be ok, it%26#039;ll tell you by drooping. During warm weather you can take it outside, keep it in medium shade, and it will thrive.
Reply:You should plant it outside...I have my own garden with flowers outside and they really love it out there! It feels like home to them! And they can dry up fast and easy when indoors...make sure to water them and if you see weeds or dried up ones, make sure to get rid of those, it will make more room for the other flowers to keep growing! If you go to school, make sure you have someone in your family to watch over the precious flower! They can get bad and rotted sometimes without water and a little shade so they won%26#039;t get burned up! Keep track of this stuff everyday...if you don%26#039;t something can really come up out of notice! Flowers need caring to them alot, so take care! You can get check to see if it%26#039;s growing too or buy some more flower seeds to grow more and have lots more greater ones! Have fun, it will get easy so don%26#039;t worry!
