What is the proper care and life span for an Easter lily?

I bought a beautiful easter lily for easter and it is blooming beautifully. I would just like some more 411 on proper maintenance and care for the easter lily.

What is the proper care and life span for an Easter lily?
MY LILIES ARE IN BLOOM AS WELL AND MINE ARE SHADED BY THE TREE AND THEY ARE PLANTED IN THE GROUND AND THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE BEST THING ABOUT THEM BEING A BULB WILL GROW EVERY YEAR
Reply:You should be able to enjoy an Easter lily for two to three weeks by following these tips. keep it in bright, indirect sunlight (a possible light filter could be a curtain) is recommended to keep the Easter lily alive, because direct sunlight will case the blooms to fade. Only water it as the plant needs it, when the potting mix becomes visibly dry.

Temperature: Lilies will survive best at a minimum temperature of 60 degrees and a maximum temperature of 80 degrees.

Maintenance: Remove all dead leaves and faded blooms and keep the foliage dry to help prevent disease and insect problems.

Usage: The Easter lily cannot be grown outside in Alabama. Depending on the variety and proper care of the Easter lily it can reach a height of two to four feet tall.
Reply:i would think plant food, don't let it get too dry, and try sunlight. if it appears to not like the sun. move it to some shade. i don't think planting it in the ground would be a good idea. depending on where u live.
Reply:the easter lily is really nice and is actually cold hardy. is a perrenial and can be grpwn as long as you get above -20 degrees.

keep it inside until summer. if it stops blooming it is okay. then put it in full or partial sun in the ground all summer long. then in the winter it will die to the ground and in the following summer it will come up. this is guarented to survive at 5, but has been said to come up no matter what
