Easter lily?

I have an Easter Lily. The blooms have died. Will it grow again? How do I care for it?

Easter lily?
It will only survive if transplanted outside in semi shaded sheltered position, just dig a hole n plop it in, bit of all purpose slow release fertilizer, n then water n care as for the other plants in the garden. The exisiting leaves will wither n die off, but not to worry, it is a bulb plant n will grow again for next season. it will not survive indoors for next season. Good luck to u. ps, make the spot where u plant it with labeled stick in case u plant something else over the top of it.......an ice cream stick labelled with plant name works fine
Reply:Dig a hole in a semi-shady spot. Place plant in hole after flowers have faded. Do not plant near other lilies as it may transmit a virus. The stems will die down. Be sure to mark the spot. The plant may rebloom in the fall. It may take 1 or 2 years for it to start blooming in mid-summer -- it%26#039;s normal blooming time.

Good Luck!!
Reply:i dont know if it will bloom but did you know not to let a cat get by it. if you have a cat, dont let it eat the leaves, there is something extremely poisonous in it to them, it can kill em. just an fyi, there was just an article in the paper about it.
