Stargazer Lily Bulbs . . .?

If i purchase 3 bulbs of Stargazer Lilies for $11 . . . how many actual flowers will I get in a bulb?

This might be a dumb question, but I know very little about growing flowers . . . this is for a fund raising project proposal.

Stargazer Lily Bulbs . . .?
Each bulb will produce one lily plant with at least one stem that can potentially have 3 to 5 flowers or more on each stem.

Take a look:

Reply:You're welcome! Thank you :)

WOW, it's so great to be appreciated by you.

This makes doing the research such a pleasure...

Knowing that I have been able to help. Thanks, again!

Good luck!!!! Report It

Reply:Depends on the size of the bulb .What size are they? Where from? This year, assuming avg size bulbs ,3' plants , with 2-6 flowers /stem. Well-established ones will have 2-3 stems , 4-6' high, with 8-12 buds, maybe as many as 20.
Reply:1 plant per bulb, the first year each bulb should put off (hopefully) 1 flower spike that hopefully will contain 3-5 flowers.
Reply:There are some real good answers here.
