Anyone know what this refers to and did it anger you when your parents made you attend.
Lily White's Party?
My grandmother used to say it--she was born in about 1890 in Brooklyn. I've never heard it from anyone younger. Oh, yes, the phrase was "Lily White's birthday party." It was annoying at the time, but a fond memory now--thanks!
